AGQM Publishes Biodiesel Quality Report 2011
Study verifies high quality level
As already done in 2011, AGQM releases a report on the quality of Biodiesel produced in Germany. This report once again confirms the high quality level of the tested Biodiesel produced by AGQM members which exceeds that required by the Biodiesel standard DIN EN 14214 and the sometimes even more stringent AGQM specifications.
The consistent implementation of the quality management system is the decisive factor for the high quality level of AGQM members. This was demonstrated by the results of the study which was based on the tests carried out in 2011. The detailed evaluation and information regarding the parameters tested is available on AGQM’s homepage (www.agqm.de).
As a result of this comprehensive and internationally unparalleled quality assurance – also available abroad under the name of BPAC (‘Biodiesel Production AGQM Certified’) – problems when using Biodiesel could be avoided in recent years; engine manufacturers – like Deutz AG – therefore recommend Biodiesel of AGQM quality. For additional information please turn to AGQM’s homepage.
With about 3.6 million tons AGQM represents about 74 % of the German Biodiesel production capacity and about 90 % of the tonnage produced. Therefore, this study offers a meaningful survey of the Biodiesel quality produced in Germany.
