Round Robin Test 2012 for Biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel jointly organised by AGQM and FAM
The Association Quality Management Biodiesel (AGQM) organises again in cooperation with the Fachausschuss für Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM) a round robin test for Biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel.
The analysis of components and the final product forms a major part of the quality assurance of fuels. Therefore reliable monitoring and testing of the product properties of Biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel is an essential aspect of its quality management. The participation in round robin tests is thereby an important instrument for laboratories to control and improve the standard obtained.
Since 2008 AGQM and FAM (Fachausschuss für Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung im DIN/ Mineral Oil and Fuels Standardization Committee within DIN) once annually conduct their international round robin test for Biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel. All interested laboratories (at company sites, contractors, research) dealing with the analysis of Biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel are invited to participate also in 2012. In 2011 a total of 70 laboratories from Germany, Europe, South America and Asia took part, which makes the AGQM/FAM round robin test the largest regular event of its kind worldwide.
Interested persons can register by 27th April 2012 latest at http://rrt.agqm-biodiesel.com/index.php. More information about the round robin test are available on AGQM’s homepage (www.agqm.de) or can be requested by e-mail (n.onrhzre@ntdz-ovbqvrfry.qr). Both nationally and internationally AGQM offers a concept of measures for the quality assurance of Biodiesel which comprises the entire production and marketing chain. The association is involved in research projects for most diverse application options of Biodiesel and its by-products.
